LEARN IF YOU ARE ASTROLOGICALLY COMPATIBLE -- IN FIVE EZ MINUTES!

by Vanessa Cortez, staff writer.  [May 12, 2003]

[WeeklyUniverse.com]  Now YOU can tap into the wisdom of the stars to see if friends, lovers, co-workers, or any two people, are astrologically compatible -- and you don't have to spend long years studying musty astrology tomes to do it!

The Weekly Universe EZ Astro-Pal Compatibility Chart[© TM] lets anyone access the powers of the mystical and ancient zodiac -- so that YOU can perform expert astro-compatibility analyses -- in under five minutes!

The below Weekly Universe EZ Astro-Pal Compatibility Chart[© TM] was created using the exact-same ancient, time-tested, scientific principles that professional astrologers have used for millennia!

Each of the 12 signs in the Zodiac corresponds to one of four Elements: Fire, Earth, Air, or Water.  According to astrological wisdom, signs of the same Element enjoy a deep understanding -- and a strong foundation for a relationship! To a lesser degree, Water and Earth share a special bond, for together they create life! Likewise, Fire and Air enjoy a special bond. Fire needs Air to survive -- and Air is glorified by Fire. Some Elements are neutral in their interactions. But most difficult are Fire and Water, dowsing or evaporating the other, depending on which is stronger.

Each of the 12 signs in the Zodiac possesses of one three Qualities: Cardinal, Fixed, or Mutable.  According to the wisdom of the stars, signs of the same Quality compete for the same karmic roles and don't easily cooperate or compromise. Two bossy Cardinal signs both want to initiate their own plans. Two stubborn Fixed signs each "know" the best way to get things done. And two restless Mutable signs will both be off on their own journeys. Cooperation is easier between signs of different Qualities, because they complement each other, filling in what the other lacks, and doing important jobs the other doesn't much like.

On the basis of these mystical and scientific teachings of the Ancients, here now is the ...

Want to know if two people are astrologically compatible? Here's how!

1.  Determine the Sun Signs of each person from their birthdays.  [DISCLAIMER: People born on the first or last date of a sign lie on the CUSP -- which means they PROBABLY belong to that sign but MAY belong to the neighboring sign depending on the place and time of their birth. A computer horoscope program can determine their correct Sun Sign. Many FREE shareware programs can be found on the net.

2.  Once you know a person's Sun Sign, use the above EZ Chart to determine the Element and Quality of their Sign. (I.E., Aquarius's Element is Air, and its Quality is Fixed.)

3.  Once you know each person's Element and Quality, use the below scoring system to add or subtract points to their relationship.

If they share the same element ............. add 2 points
If they share the same quality ............... deduct 1 point
It they are the same sign ..................... deduct 2 points
If their elements are earth and water ...... add 1 point
If their elements are fire and air ............. add 1 point
If their elements are fire and water ......... deduct 1 points

4.  Now total it up! Here's how compatible these two people are:

+2  ........  The bestest of friends -- even cosmic soul mates!
+1  ........  You make a good team.
 0  .........  Let's just be friends. Or not.
-1  .........  You get on my nerves.
-2  .........  Get away before we kill each other!

DISCLAIMERS: (1) Scoring based on Sun Signs only. Individual compatibility may be modified depending on an individuals' rising signs, moon signs, planet signs, House positions, aspects, and transits. (2) Scoring only determines the ease with which two people "get along." However, while a +2 relationship is smoother than a lower scoring one, the "rougher the ride" the greater the potential for social, romantic, and karmic growth and rewards IF the two people are able to meet and overcome the increased challenges of their more difficult relationship -- BUT there is little potential for karmic growth between identical signs despite their -1 difficulties.

Want to learn more? Want to be more than an Astrological Expert?

Below is some advanced study material for those who want to rise above the level of mere Astrological Expert -- and wish to become an Advanced Astrological Expert!

* The Four Elements

As an Astrological Expert, you already know that each of the 12 signs in the Zodiac corresponds to one of four Elements. You know what they are. Here is what it means:

Fire rules the Spirit. Fire signs are extroverted, motivated, idealistic, inspirational, and energetic. Yet they can also be arrogant, know-it-all, close-minded, and intolerant of other people's opposing ideals.

Earth rules the Body. Earth signs are practical, cautious, materialistic, reliable, "down to earth." Yet they can also be unimaginative, boring, and achieve little because they "sell out" or avoid risks.

Air rules the Mind. Air signs are intellectual, communicative, given to abstract thoughts, plans, and ideas. Yet they can also have their "heads in the clouds" too much, so their ideas are impractical.

Water rules Emotions. Water signs are emotional, creative, intuitive, sympathetic, and caring. Yet they can also be self-absorbed, secretive, uncommunicative, self-pitying, vengeful, and hampered by an inability to "let it go."

* The Three Qualities

As an Astrological Expert, you also know that each of the 12 signs in the Zodiac possesses one of three Qualities. You know what those are. Here is what they mean:

Cardinal signs are initiators, planners, leaders, and visionaries.

Fixed signs are organizers who consolidate and "make real" the plans of others. They are stubborn and persistent.

Mutable signs are restless communicators who disperse what has been created, seeking to adapt and improve it.

Got that?

Mega-mucho-congratulations! You are now an Advanced Astrological Expert, with all the rights, privileges, and benefits conferred thereof!
